This Mala is made of aromatic Sandalwood Thuja beads and Lapis Lazuli stones. It is very light weight and the texture of the sandalwood is very soft. The very old Guru bead makes it one of a kind.
Lapis Lazili~ The color blue has always been a symbol of royalty. Ancient Egyptians wore blue as a representation of the Gods. Thus, they adorned themselves with Lapis Lazuli as far back as 3100 B.C. (probably earlier). Lapis is associated with the Third Eye & Throat Chakras. It promotes self-knowledge and reflection, helping us to find inner peace and freedom. Lapis also helps us to open ourselves up to spiritual guidance and can help us gain knowledge of past lives and esoteric knowledge from past civilizations.
I make every mala mindfully and with good intentions. It will arrive beautifully wrapped, containing an information card outlining the materials used to make your mala.
Our ancestors were, no doubt, very much aware of their spiritual selves and we know they had a deep respect for the mineral kingdom. I do not claim to know all there is to know about all the gifts stones are capable of imparting upon us, but I strive in my daily life to reach a deeper understanding with the absence of judgment. My goal is to provide you with the most accurate descriptions I can find, but I trust you will experience these gifts for yourselves with your own malas. While I cannot (obviously) guarantee you will, my hope, still, is that all beings reach Enlightenment.
